what about ppi on a mortgage??
worth getting or same principle involved??

If you want this kind of insurance for peace of mind, should get stand alone income protection policy. then if the worst happens, you get an income payment each month that you can use as you choose. These ppi policies are only protecting the lender, not you, as even IF they pay out, they are paying the money to themselves! they are also HUGELY overpriced, often more than 10 times the cost of a stand alone policy.

Anyone have experience of getting PPI stopped/reclaimed from Welcome Finance (yeh - I know - wiser now!)?

I've got a major pre-existing health condition which means that I would never probably be able to claim re loss of earnings, etc. Most likely they would say anything that happened to me was linked to this condition. This wasn't discussed at the time that it was added onto the loan, without much discussion, (before I became wise and moneysaving).

CLASSIC Mis-selling, get in touch & ask for the whole lot back. Now is the time to do it as the negative publicity about PPI is piling up & loads of companies are being fined for mis-selling. Im sure this is what motivated my refund, not my incredible powers of persuasion!
