    Aye, better to do it at slow speeds, with a firm grip on the wheel ;)
    You still feel the car pulling due to the extra drag on one side, but you're less likely to have a problem :)

    It's odd this came up, as I was sat in the our car the other day when it was really cold, waiting for someone to come out of the doctors, and with the engine idling I could hear/feel a difference in how it ran as I turned on the rear window demister and the lights, not much but a change in how the car was idling (once I noticed that I tried various combinations of lights, demister and cigarette lighter).
