Home phone recommendations please

Hi all,can anyone reccommend a good home phone deal please? we currently have BT Anytime (as I like a natter when am off work during day:)) but after a problem with septembers bill (their error) I feel like we are being shafted by them,as they don't make the bills easy to understand (or I am mega thick!) we currently pay £21.10 a month (inclusive of line rental) & £3.15 a month for caller display. Is this a good deal does anyone think or are there better ones out there?? Thanks for reading:)

BT's line rental is expensive but their Unlimited Anytime calls plan is one of the best around as long as you can remember to hang up and redial after 59 minutes.

However, I have to ask, why are you paying for Caller Display? It's free with BT Privacy and, as you make your calls via BT, you'd have no difficulty meeting the 2 calls per month 'requirement'.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

10% from now until the turn of the century seems reasonable - or I'll waive the ongoing commitment for a single payment of £55. Your choice!

Yeah Caller Display and BT Answer 1571 are both free services if you make 2 calls per month, well spotted Heinz.

Can i ask does the £21.10 include the £3.15 for Caller Display or is it seperate?

And do the line rental saver for £120 (£10 p/month)
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!
