need info on a laptop please

I am after a new laptop and i have seen one on offer in argos, its a Acer Aspire One 722 11.6 Inch Ultra Portable Laptop, i usually use it to surf the net and watch the bbc iplayer, 4od etc, i am wondering if this would be able to do tht, any help will be greatly apriciated

yes it would, as would pretty much anything 12" is good if portability is a main consideration - small enough to cart around easily, but big enough screen-wise and should have a decent-size keyboard in it rather than a fiddly netbook one .

'Buffering' is more determined by the speed of your internet connection than the spec of your laptop. Any modern laptop wil run iPlayer etc just fine given a reasonable line speed.
So don't buy a new laptop if that is the only issue!

Do you actually want an ultra-portable? Will you be carrying out and about often?
If not, you should get a normal laptop; as, whilst the netbook/ultra portable may do the job it's a bit on the weak side. Not spectacular on battery performance either.
So consider it only if you actually need an ultra portable.
