Buying seeds online - cheap supplier please
Options
A few weeks ago someone kindly provided a link for a company that sells seeds very resonably online -I think the typical price was 50p per pack.
I've done a search, but I'm afraid I can't find it anywhere - I think the link was provided in the OS daily thread (and if I try searching through there I'll be there till the end of summer!!!)
I'd really appreciate it if whoever it was could provide it again, or if anyone else has bookmarked it could post it please.
Thanks,
Kaz x

... and they are good quality too...;)
btw, what you do NOT get is a shiny packet with growing instructions, but assuming you can glean the information elsewhere (and the website itself is very useful) then they are a true bargain!0 -
Ah, thank you both. I knew I hadn't dreamt it (yep, I am sad enough to dream about MSE, lol) Off for a nosey now

Wow! What a fantastic selection!!!! I've currently 13 items in my cart.... I'm going to 'sleep on it' as while the cost isn't an issue (I've often spent this on a single plant), I'm more concerned on where I'm going to put all the trays of seeds when I plant them, lol.
I also need a bit of advice about the various things I'd like to order - I think it's best I ask advice on this under a new thread with an appropriate title IYKWIM.
Thank you for the link janiebaby - it VERY much appreciated.

try moreveg.co.uk too, just got my order from them, average 50 seeds or less in a packet, so can try lots of things out.0

:T Thank you vandanfc - I had heard about this (or something similar) a while ago, but had not tracked it down!0

Erm... a little pointer. If you save a basket (on Alanromans), do make sure you chose a memorable name for it.... I saved mine and cannot remember what I named it (I recall roughly, but not precisely..) There are NO options to be reminded unless you've previously placed an order.
That'll teach me, lol

You can also try http://www.vidaverde.co.uk/
The seed packets are really generous. Although more expensive than Alan Romans, if someone was to share the cost with you, you'd end up with more seed and you'd get 2 or 3 years planting out of a single purchase. The only seeds you need to buy fresh are parsnip and onion seeds. The rest will keepLightbulb moment 2/1/07First Direct £2500 loan
