Which price do i pay?????

Options
Gooutdoors latest outdoor clothing magazine offers state 2 different offers for the same item!
Offer one-£24.99 for some boots on the front page of the brochure.
Offer two-£29.99 same boots but in the boots section.

These particular boots are exactly the same and the ad states that from mon 19th Dec they are in the sale at offer one price and then states the same ad but offer two price!

Which do i pay and will they make me pay the more expensive price?

Any good advice re this would be welcome :D

They could ask you to pay the more expensive price, yes.
  • Try paying the lower price - but just because it's in the catalogue doesn't mean they are obliged to sell to you at that price.

I'm just wondering if the difference in price of £5 has anything to do with the two prices being quoted With and Without the Go Outdoors Discount Card as that just to happens to be £5 too. Check the small print

As pendulum says, go Outdoors usually offer their goods at two prices -either with or without their discount card (which costs £5 a year). Their headine offer prices usually are asterisked as being the price with a discount card.

They do have a promise that if you can find the goods cheaper elsewhere - either in a UK store or a UK website - then they will not only match it but give it to you 10% cheaper, so you could aways use their own brochure to get them to match their own price!
