Cut paw

I just noticed some blood on the floor and checked the dog's paw. There is a small cut, not deep but a few mms wide. It's stopped bleeding now and it doesn't appear to be bothering her in the slightest.
However, what should I do about making sure it is clean, should I just let her out in the garden and then wash her paw in salt water? What about walks etc?

I'd guess the dog would keep it clean itself by licking - though no harm cleaning out any obvious dirt. I'd personally lay off the walks on concrete for a day or two, but I'd think he'd be OK on grass.0

When you go out for walks, you must ensure it's cleaned when you get back .... or try something like these

They're great for cuts and also protecting dogs feet from really bad snow / grit on the roads etc.
They come in all sizes (didn't search for the cheapest price so you will find better) and as they comes in packs of 12, if one tears / gets "horrible" inside, you simply use another. HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I wouldn't worry too much about it really, just try to keep an eye out for what might have cut it in the first place (e.g. if there's a shard of broken plate on the kitchen floor or something iykwim?)
