Looks alright to me... not cheap but not a massive rip off either. The kit itself is probably around £1.5k inc VAT.

I'm amused by the use of the term "lump sum price"!

My main concern would be the use of Drayton controls and a Gledhill cylinder

Why's that? Are they 'low-end' manufacturers?

It means he has a low opinion of and/or has a had a bad experience with both companies.

Is this the only Q you have? It looks reasonable but to get honest comparsion you need at least one more quote from an independent contractor. Berar in mind he may take the same view as G4Y in relation to your unvented and system controls so may propose an alternative.

Yes, I've had quite a few most of which were about £500 more. The only cheaper one was an 'estimate' rather than quote and didn't include replacing the cylinder.

really nothing wrong with either of these, but trv's should be inc & not an optional extra, there are req as part L of the building regs, when ever a system is updated, price doesn't look too bad
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
