Egg Card PPI Claim - Where To Send?

Hi all,

I'm in the process of making a claim against Egg for PPI on a credit card I opened in 2003. What with the move to Barclaycard though, I'm a little confused about who and where I should be sending my questionnaire.

Should I be sending directly to Egg:

Egg Card
Riverside Road
Pride Park
Derby
DE99 3GG

Or Barclaycard? Has anyone been through the PPI process with Egg lately and can confirm where to send the form?

Thanks in advance all!

I'd suggest contacting Barclaycard initially, as they now provide and operate your cards.

can anyone advise on finding out if I have been paying for PPI on my old Egg Card (taken out in 2003)?

I've not got any paper statements, as I had a paperless account... I can still log into egg.com, but there is only contact details there now and no electronic statements.

I still have the card/account which is now of course transferred to Barclaycard.

Hello i sent a request to Egg for information even though the loan now with a debt collection company called Arrow, Arrow acknoweldged request but nothing else. i still had my online log in for egg and yesterday emailed them complaining that i had received nothing else and explained that i would be putting a complaint in writing about my ppi which was 4.5 added immediately to a 15k loan. This morning they have emailed me telling me they have opened the complaint for me and i will hear in 8 weeks........ i am going to back this with the FO form.

Do be aware that, should you win any redress, the bank can retain any monies still owed and pay it to Arrow.

To be perfectly honest I would be more than happy for anything i get back to go towards outstanding balance. Thats my intention with a DMP not going to be paid off till 2020 if i can cut that down by 12 months i would be more than happy.
  • has anyone had an updated about this? i used to have an egg card which I am gradually paying off via debt management. if i can claim back ppi that can go towards the outstanding balance, but who do i write to?

Yes, "pbsmiles" had his complaint upheld in June. He hasn't been active on the site since July.
  • I used to have an Egg loan and credit card. I called Barclays who said as its older than 5 years i have to write to Barclays head office asking for all the information. Once this is done they can then accept my compliant for PPI being miss sold.
  • Just to updated i wrote to them and never had a reply, so i am going to call them again.
