not a freebie, info needed please?

Sorry to post this here, but I didnt know where else to post. Ive been collecting used stamps because Im sure there are charities who can benefit from them, unfortunately I cant remember which charities. Can anyone give me advice on who/where to send them?.......afterall, why bin them if they can be of some benefit? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, as well as helping me to a good deed, thanks in advance guys xxxx:A
*(Also thought if others who read and use this thread saved up their stamps from any postal freebies received, we could all do a good deed and give something back....karma and universe and all that xx)*

  • Have you looked in your post office? Our post office and doctor's surgery have boxes for used stamps. I'm not 100% sure but think it's for blind dogs - saves you posting them.

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

I sent my last lot to Guide Dogs for the Blind, but it looks like they won't be taking them past the end of this year:

I think the time prior to that I sent them to Oxfam.

  • We collect them at work and I think they go to Diabetes Foundation, it may be worth contacting your local branch to find out if they also collect.

  • I can't be sure, but I seem to recall that branches of Vision Express often have collection boxes in store.
