WTC and CTC christmas payments

Anyone got the link for payment dates? Just checked my bank and 2 payments went in this week - wasn't expecting it as I usually get paid on a Weds, so figured that it wouldn't overlap any holiday days. Hate having money in my account when I have no idea why it's there!

Also, mission to get out the benefits system totally is in full swing New business is going exceptionally well, rushed off my feet. Other job also going very well, lots of hours AND I've been selected for interview for my Masters - wahoo!!

Mmm...well I rang them. Apparently it's an extra payment generated from last year - I've already had 2 of them. Evidently, and in the words of the lady on the phone 'it's because it's clear you need it'....not sure how to take that one! Now, to spend or not to spend, that's the question. Tempted to throw it in the savings account in case they decide it's not mine after all, but I've only got my lo 2 Christmas presents and a) I feel mean (by 2 Christmas presents, I mean I've spent £35 total) and b) there's a book she'd just love (which would only make a tiny dent in the extra money). Hmmmm...I can't wait to get out of this benefits system, hate it hate it hate it!!!!!

Thank you - it's very competitive, but someone whose kids attend my daughter's nursery used to be on the interview panel, guess who I'm inviting over for coffee!!

LL30, I just had a look at the link which Cosmic-Dust posted- and if you scroll down a little bit it does tell you all the dates when WTC and CTC will be paid- not only this Christmas but over Bank Holidays next year as well.
