I normally use Morningstar being slightly more rapid than Trustnet or HargreavesL, but they are several days behind on some of mine and they won'r respond to my complaints.
Are there any more reliable providers, for example are any sites displaying yesterdays (15th) price for this trust F&C Strategic Bond 1 Acc rather than the 13th or 14th? I often have problems with other trusts as well.
Actually I have just realised that the problem is down to the portfolio manager, since the link is up to date (15th) but the portfolio is still displaying the 13th December, so it could be a software issue.

Trustnet should be fine. The paid for version updates in the evening. So, I would expect the free version to be similar. I just checked the paid for version and current price is 15/12/2011 153.60p (-0.10p)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Is that showing in the portfolio manager though, rather than the individual page for the trust? I think is may be a software/data issue on their side, but only for this trust. My portfolio is still showing prices for the 13th for this trust. Here is a paste from a minute ago. The other trusts are OK and showing the 15th.
F&C Strategic Bond 1 Acc 153.9000GBX -0.13 -13/12/20110 -
F&C have the price for that as 153.60 as at 15/12. http://www.fandc.com/new/oeics/Default.aspx?id=81073
They vary a lot but in some cases the managers for a fund will have the latest price within an hour or two; in other cases it can take until the next day. You might find it useful to list your funds in excel with a hyperlink to the managers' prices.0 -

How do you link to a specific number in a html table with Excel? Can you achieve that with the link you gave?
(PS The prices have updated now in the portfolio and since Morningstar took a few days to reply they don't believe me!) :mad:0 -
I'm afraid F&C can't be bothered to update their own figures at the time of this post they are still displaying 153.80 labelled as the 19th two days ago.

Meanwhile Morningstar have simply removed the dates from their portfolio prices! Great solution. The portfolio price is 154.0 (last Friday?)whilst the price by clicking on the trust directly 153.90 claims to be the 20th.
So now we have three prices to add to the confusion.0
