Hi All!
Recently went through the motions of getting my paperwork sorted and sent off my form indicating that I was told that I had to take insurance for a loan a few years back. I have to say, Tesco have been very prompt in replying to my letters, only waiting 2 or 3 days for a response. The most recent letter I got indicated they were investigating my claim and it would take up to 8 weeks? Just checking if anyone else has dealt with Tesco, and does this time scale sound right?

Good luck on your reclaiming.
That looks about correct on the standard procedures, and many on here have had dealings with Tesco who may hopefully post up of their own experience.

Just an update on how my claim went. Yesterday I received a full refund with interest. I have to say Tesco have been absolutely first class in dealing with my complaint. They have kept to every time-scale and even suggested writing to the ombudsman... Upon ringing the ombudsman it was apparent if I had lodged a complaint, then my claim would have took much longer, giving the year long back-log of complaints they have to go through. Hopefully the cheque arrives soon.
