Ebay holiday vouchers

Hiya

I'm new to this forum so hopefully I have the right thread.

I was just wondering if anybody has ever bought Thomas Cook vouchers from ebay??

I've seen a voucher which will cost me only half of the savings so getting £100 off for £50 etc but I've never bought that kind of thing of ebay.
Do people think it's trustworthy? It seems like too goo d a deal to miss.

Thanks

Think you will find that selling vouchers is against ebay rules and if you do buy them you will have no protection from ebay or Paypal.
This is because there are so many scammers out there. You may be lucky but is it worth the risk?

I have bought thousands of the Thomas cook worldwide travel vouchers don't think it is against ebay rules to sell them unless they're the family fund vouchers that are issued by charity.
But Bethan do be careful because there are lots of scammers out there and they arent covered by ebay protection or paypal, i had to claim once under section 75 on my credit card cause ebay and paypal had changed the rules on protection. Don't bother with the money off vouchers they're not worth the paper they're printed on usually due to the small print and the terms and conditions, mostly you have to ring a call centre and you don't get the extra money off the brochured prices like you would in the shops and usually theres a minimum spend. The worldwide travel vouchers are good but always pay with a credit card and over £100, check their feedback and how they're posting them to you, if they get lost its only the dearer postage at about £5.45 that covers them the ordinary to be signed for at about £1.20 doesn't cover vouchers. Hope this helps anymore questions just ask.

You have to be carefull because there are the proper vouchers, which are just like cash. You can use them off late deals etc.
And then there are the money off vouchers which are sometimes £50, sometimes £100, sometimes more.
These vouchers only entitle you to the voucher amount off the brochure price, no special offers allowed, and only one voucher per booking (not worth the paper there written on really) be extra carefull which type your buying.

You wont get the first type of voucher (the usefull one) for half price, they usually go for 90% of the actual value.
If no one else seems to be bidding then read the small print.
