I hardly think enough info has been provided to consider them evil or to shame them... what I read they basically though op was pulling a fast one so tried charging for goods, op disputed it & they backed down due to lack of evidence. Even if they did do the wrong thing initially, it was a happy ending surely?

Dreamypuma & arcon5: - Unfortunately it was not just 1 conversation. I had several protracted conversations with different sections and people. Also i wasted much time in dealing with correspondences

You have the issue sorted.

You said you've lost 3 days work and if you took it further you would have to prove that you spent a significant amount of time on the phone each day (lets say typical day is usual 9 hours, so I'd expect for a self employed a significant portion is about 4 to 5 hours each day on the phone to constitute as a wasted day).


So you have a few options, either drop it and don't waste more time taking it further OR take it further (if you can via courts) and probably loose due to what the courts think a wasted day is against your perceived understanding.
