I am so pleased that I said my wife was an OAP. That statement has produced almost as much comment as my question. I shall refrain from giving my reason in the hope that this thread can continue into next year with all the speculation.Something Really Interesting0

OAP's are more stereotypically likely to take care of their goods? Was it just her birthday the other week and you're teasing her by referring to her as a OAP? Does it perhaps relate to the fact that she may have no claim for travelling expenses to return a faulty product due to having a bus pass (sorry i apologise for that one but i had to try!).
