The Times "win every hour" competition on Saturday 17 December is for a Galaxy Nexus android phone worth £500. Competition runs from 9am to midnight as usual.

There is also a text route to enter. Send a text message to 61008. Start with the word GALAXY, followed by your name and address. For example: GALAXY Paul Jones, 43 London Road, Anywhere, N4 0XX. Texts cost 25p plus standard message rate.

It also looks like Sunday's competition may be for a half-case of Bollinger Special Cuvee champagne worth over £400.

if sundays comp goes in a new thread can someone add a link to the post to the end of the daily sticky please? also any others (next week end eg)? i have todays there already
i only saw this thread because a friend warned me about it, otherwise i would have found it this evening if at all :rotfl: not every comper here keeps up with newly posted threads, some of us comp by end date and some of us are 2 or 3 days behind on new posts. some people never see bumped threads at all because of the way they sort the board (or that was the case when we had the option buttons at the top, i dont know about now ) adding these threads to the daily sticky gives a chance to find them before they expire

If you go to http://www.ifttt.com (if this then that) and join for free....you can set up alsorts of handy little things to do with online and some offline tasks...for example you can set up your mobile number, then make a task that warns you every hour via text to do something line this....and even get it to post the link on your Facebook for you to click and remind you to enter every hour.
It will also watch for mentions of you on twitter and most social networks and gmail....then tell you about them via txt or email or any of the ways you choose.
Handy for this one, one of my friends was remined last week and got a telly out of it

I've now activated my phone number with http://www.ifttt.com but don't know what to do after that

It keeps on asking me to complete a trigger to send messages FROM my number. I want to send messages TO my phone not FROM

Hi guys, I just found out about this Times comp but missed the opportunity to enter from 9am to 13pm... Where do you get the information about Times comp like that? Can you subscribe to some sort of alerts???

I try to put a heads up post on the Competitions Board at least a day before the actual competition - this time I posted 2 days before.

There's another similar competition every hour tomorrow for champagne worth £400.
