Virgin Media GRRRR!

Is there a representative on here from Virgin Media?

Ive been having problems with my bills being wrong for months and im talking well over 6 months!!

I got to a point where I was going to cancel and go elsewhere but the guy in retentions offered me an offer i couldn't refuse and so i stayed with the promise of this new deal.

My bills have still continued to be incorrect and this amount never honoured. On contacting them I get told its correct until they eventually go back over the notes and admit Im right and say it will be fine from now on as they have adjusted this and that...

This again didn't go to plan, I spoke to retentions again and then eventually the Manager....who credited my account with £30 to cover the over charges I've had. She also confirmed my account would be correct in future blah blah blah .....

Low and behold..this month again... Its wrong :( I will not be paying a higher line rental than was agreed but im fed up of dealing with incompetent people on the phone who always promise me it will be correct from now on ... when it isn't!!!

  • Thanks, Ill keep a note of that e-mail!

I ended up just ringing them again, they agreed the bill was wrong again, apologised and said she had permission from her manager as well as from the notes to put a rolling credit on the account to make sure that the amount is discounted every month so will watch this space!

The only issue is never to give them a DD due to the arbitary nature of their billing system. Having been a customer for 14 years, at least they are consistent, and I can guarantee 4 bills a year needs to be queried.
