how has your laptop died? - it might be fixable and therefore save you some money
otherwise look at the £350 laptops threadDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Why do you think that you may need an i5 processor?

just that people have said if im renewing, i may as well get an i5?
I dont really understand it all tbh, that why i thought i would ask on here??...0 -
daisy,
You don't say what you use the laptop for, but most people use theirs for email, surfing, posting on here, etc.
Any £300 laptop will be fine for that purpose.
The i5 is regarded as a good, fast processor, but is probably over-specified for you if I guess your use correctly.
A quick Google suggests most i5 machines are £400+.
Pointless spending the extra when you won't notice any difference in use.0 -
I think grumpycrab linked you to the cheapest i5 available currently.0

As was said, what's gone wrong with the current one? Maybe fixable, and maybe easily fixable.
Do you have install discs for your Operating System? Windows XP, Vista or 7? Some other?0 -
