I just had the phone ring, and after saying hello a couple of times I had a recorded voice say 'Goodbye'.

It's not just you, we had one a week or so ago.

Maybe it's a variant of Wowbagger, where he is saying "Goodbye" to everyone in the universe.

I think it's computers dialling mulitudes of numbers and as there's only a certain amount of call centre staff the calls, so when there's no staff to irritate you by asking silly questions it auto says goodbye.

Perhaps there actually was a phone conversation but you were zapped with the men in black memory zapping thing! :eek: So all you remember was the "goodbye" at the end! Might want to check your bank statement!

I get that a lot. When I Google the number it says it's 'Torchwood'.

No idea what's going on.

No one ever phones me.
Whenever it rings it's a wrong number.
I've even phoned myself and still only got a wrong number.
