No, they don't.
Kirstybabe, something appears to be wrong with your keyboard.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Even if the shop had it at that price, they can still refuse to sell it to you
But websites and stores are often different parts of the same group. Much like tesco direct is tesco's website and tesco express/metro/superstore etc are the shops. They're all technically different companies trading under the same umbrella/family name.
Often websites can afford to sell you cheaper because they dont have the same overheads that a retail shop does. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

But Moneysupermarket.com has nothing to do at all with John Lewis.
OP - so are you asking if you see a price on ANY site for another totally unrelated store, that the store should honour the price? Surely not....“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
Let me get his straight.
You saw an offer advertised cheaply on a third party's website unrelated to John Lewis and you expect to get items at that price when in fact John Lewis were not even aware of this price?0 -

Ahhhh I misread the OP. I thought they'd seen the offer, checked it online (on JL website) THEN called their local store. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
