Hi

For 7 days now we have had no hot water or heating at all,
BG have been nearly every day and not solved the problem,
surely they have a duty of care after this length of time,
last night I again spoke to them and the man said if the boiler
is less than 7 years old they would replace it, we have asked time and again to the repair man if we need to a new one and he says NO, yet we noticed on the form it says the boiler is 5 years old, could this be why they keep trying to fix it and not replace it.
Can anyone advice me if they should be doing something more

many thanks
Sam B

Visit the web site of the Boiler manufacturer, (you will need your exact model and for best, its serial number).
It's quite possible the makers have their own service engineers, if so ask them what the Call Out charge is and rate per hour - Then Email BG with this information advising them that if they don't fix the boiler within 4 working days, you call in the makers Serivice Engineer at BG's cost
  • What is the make and model of the boiler, and what are the exact symptoms?

Is your boiler some kind of Fukushima nuclear reactor of such complexity that it takes so long to fix?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I'm so glad that BG don't offer to cover nuclear reactors...
