Egg 0% running out

My Egg 0% is due to end in 6 weeks time and I'm planning on applying for a Capital One card and moving my balance over to it. My 8k will still be sitting in an account gathering interest, but if my Capital 1 card has a high enough balance could I do another SBT on my egg card and then also transfer that over to my Capital 1?

Does anyone see any problems or pitfalls with that?

Yes, you could use the Cap one to pay off your Egg balance and if you have enough put it into credit.

You can then balance transfer this credit into your bank account...

Is there a charge for BT on Capital One? And if so do they ALWAYS charge or are you exempt the first time?
