GAME Cancellation

Hello There

I ordered Forza 4 from GAME's on-line store on Tuesday. This is a chrsitmas gift for my brother. The price was £29.99.

I have had an email today that states my order has been cancelled. There is no reason in the email. It just says if i haven't cancelled it check the website to see if it has sold out. I have done this only to find that the website now shows a price of £37.99.

GAME have obviously mis-priced the item and even though they accepted my original order they have now cancelled it due to their own stupid mistake. I'm not sure if they can do this. Please let me know if this has happened to you and what you did. My gal is to get the game at the original prce they had it on for. I had no idea it should be any more expensive as I was buying this for someone else.

Yes I have. Preorder Assassins creed arrived 4 days early

I've used shopto, it's completely legit.

Also, Game had every right to cancel your order. The price is only an invitation to buy, they don't have to sell it at that price, a lot of people think otherwise, they're wrong.

Albeit if this is done deliberately it's false advertising, and trading standards will be on their case.

Tesco did this not long ago wth a certain toy that once here and hotukdeals got hold of, everyone went mad for it..it was priced at £8.74 and its RRP is £55 or something..i went and bought one anyway but 2 days later was told it was cancelled and refunded!! it was their pricing error and was the 2nd time in 3 weeks that that had happened!! it was annoying !!

I would have a look around see if u get it cheapr
