How to make individual feedback private!!!

Im not actually wanting to hide the feedback, Im wanting to hide the item number next to the feedback, so no1 can see what I have bought

Just for a couple of things, not every time

Anybody instruct me how to do so??? Just something Ive never had any reason to do until now

Cheers for help in advance

Yeah you can do it, when you create the auction, tick the box that says private auction - this way no one can see the bidders and when they leave feedback, instead of an item number it says private.

EDIT - Just seen you want if for things you buy - this isn't so easy. You will either have to contact the seller and ask them to make it a private auction or just find things that are already set to private auction.

    HTH! :-)
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)

there is no need to do this, unless you are doing something dodgy.
  • I don't think it can be done on completed transactions. However, you could open a second eBay account for future transactions requiring discretion if you wanted to.

    :rotfl: that makes sence, not!

Im wanting to do it for 2 reasons

1st - when Im at work during the day, I dont want my mrs snooping around ( as they do ) and see the thing I get her for valentines day

2nd - Couple of boys in the work are ebayer's and view my feedback on a regular basis haha, and the thing Im buying is worth a slagging

So there you go, still think its dodgy?

Dude, it's 2007, there's no shame in admitting that you like wearing women's lace underwear, you really don't have to come up with these elaborate excuses. ;) :rotfl:

Seriousley, as CMP said, the best and easiest way is to set up a second account fo such purchases. :)

send the seller a message asking them not to leave feedback, if the item is of a certain nature shall we say!!! im sure they will understand why.

If your mates are good with ebay they will know how to browse the auctions you have bidded on, regardless of feedback left, so a second account maybe adviseable if you wish to carry on dressing up like a women at the weekends
