I'm pretty sure that you can cos I did this last night for my SIL who wanted to transfer funds for the first time - just click on 'withdraw funds' at the top and you will be asked to enter your bank details, it 'shoul be' fairly simple - takes about 3 days to show up in your account thoOfficial DFW Nerd 2100

lol...yes does sound as if your getting some special treatment there
i think you can withdraw up to a set limit with paypal until your account is verified (can't remember what the limit is though)
the withdrawal limit is per month and it should say it on your account page (next to your status or balance - can't remember which!)0 -

If you want to accept paypal on your accounts then you do need the upgraded account otherwise you can't display the paypal logo, which rather defeats the purpose.
In reality there is virtually no way a buyer can pay you without triggering the need to upgrade anyway. All forms of payment cards are not acceptable on the basic account, it is really only true transfers from an existing paypal balance that is allowed. This really limits you to buyers who are also sellers and have money in their paypal accounts from their own sales.
The downside is that all payments, however funded, are chargeable on the upgraded account so you will need to factor in those charges when calculating your selling prices.
