Tesco bad customer service

Options
Few days before i bought a school lunch bag it was like half circle hello kitty bag, it did not fit with lunch box and water can.

I thought return back to them, but the lady said there is no tag(scanner code) and showed terms and conditions board. I thought that was !!!!!!!!. because when i bought it did not come with tag, they actually scanned another one for the price. Now she ask me back the tag. stupid people. I am really hate to loose £8 on that.

Is there any way can i sort out this.

  • All you need is proof of purchase so as long as you have your reciept they should be fine with it, but then again it isn't faulty so it is up to them. Who did you speak to? Why not try to speak to a supervisor? I don't see why they wouldn't let you return it if you bought it recently and they still sell it.

I work for a retail company who mainly deal in clothes and it is hard for us to determine if an item is bought from our store if it comes back without tags but 99 times out of 100 we are able to process the refund.

When you go back make sure you have your reciept and calmly explain to them that your item didn't have a tag and you were not advised this would be a problem should you need to get a refund.

    Good luck!
  • Thanks for the information, Now i lost my receipt as well. Last time when i showed the receipt but she said 'no cant return unless tag is attached'.

Originally they had the receipt when taking it in. Now they have lost the receipt as well.

I think it's unlucky truthman007 but in this case you aren't going to get a refund.
