Booked Florida holiday through Thomas Cook - Will my park tickets be safe?

We are going to Florida in March in a holiday booked through Thomas Cook.

Have heard lots of negative press about Thomas Cook over the last month, they are in one billion debt etc, I know my holiday will be covered by ATOL but we also purchased our theme park tickets through Thomas Cook, would these also be covered by ATOL or would they be at risk if between now and March Thomas Cook were to go into administration?

Thanks

  • Anyone? - I will be going into Thomas Cook on Saturday to ask them the question but would be nice to hear a non biased response first.

Were the park tickets more than £100? did you pay with a credit/debit card?

What company did Thomas cook sell you the tickets with, was it Attraction world, Virgin or in the Thomas cook signature group. If attraction world or virgin, then they're the company you need to worry about not TC as Tc are only the 3rd party if it was TCsignature then they are in the TC group and part of your flight, hotel package so should be covered but best ask your shop they'll tell you for definite.
  • Thanks for replies, it was Attraction World, and was told anything Thomas Cook sell are protected in the same way via ABTA or ATOL so the park tickets are safe.
