Baxi boiler pilot light keeps going out

Hi, My pilot light on my back boiler keeps going out, I've looked into it and it looks like its probably the thermocouple, how much should I be looking at to get this fixed in essex aera?

    Could be thermocouple but could also be other faults. Needs diagnosing properly first.

    Probably looking at about £70-£80

    Hi,

    its probably the pilot itself has become coked up, the thermocouple just tells the burner to turn on and off as far as i am aware.

    I had this same fault last year and cost me £140 for the repair and full service.

    Unfortunatly as you need to remove the fire front to get at it you cannot do it yourself.

    These ere very good reliable boilers, although only 65-70% efficient.
    They dont build them like these anymore :)
