Mis calculated ppi

Got letter back say sorry for taken so long to reply to you and after all calculated ppion your two pol our offer to u is 13700 just got of the the phone to ask when will I get the money and told that tha have made a mis calculation and hav send outa letter to say sorry and there new offer was 3800 need some help the bank is hbos

    Do you know what you've actually paid of the PPI at all?

    If they uphold in your favour, they should refund you the payments you have paid of the PPI and interest to each payment, so it will all depend on that really.;)

    It's a big difference though isn't it?

    The letter should carry a breakdown on the calculation. So, you can check the figures against your own to see which is right. i.e. is the premium you paid actually the same as they are showing

  • It's the fact the letter says we offer all premiums and simp 8persent we accepted the sum of 13700 not 3800 don't know what to do or where I stand

    Yes it's only 3200 but the offer we got was 13700 not our fault tha can't count
  • Need some advice where would I stand if I cashed in this chq for 3800 but did not sign a accepti letter for this amount
