Lush- consulatation evening

I picked up a flyer for this and then turned up for it with my guard firmly up- but the staff were lovely! I had to go to THEM to ask for my consultation (I thought they would pounce on me with their sales pitch!).

The girl politely asked me what sort of things I was interested in, talked through the things I asked her about eg which moisturiser would suit me best. Anything I liked the look of she made a note of and then at the end she made me up a sample pot of everything on my list! She didn't once try and sell me anything. I also got a huge pot of free hair moisturiser, and because I spent more than £10 (on things like soap and shampoo which I needed anyway) I got a free face mask of my choice, worth £6! So I ended up with a huge bag of goodies for my £10.18p

I was also impressed as they made it very welcoming with fresh exotic fruits on offer and freshly squeezed juice, plus they were happy for my little boy to join in the fun and smell all the goodies!

  • Lush are amazing. They always have fabulous customer service.

Their solid shampoos last for blimmin ages - as does their angels on bare skin cleanser, so they are both good money saving things to have.

  • I never usually shop at Lush but they had an offer on recently of a free bar of soap with any purchase so in I went. The staff were brilliant.... friendly without being pushy. I was a bit poor that day and only bought a £2 bath bomb thingy (very nice it was too) but they carefully wrapped a BIG sample of yummy soap for me in lovely paper and didnt leave me feeling at all guilty for only spending 2 quid. Excellent...will deffo go back when I have a few more pennies to spend.
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D
  • Aw I feel all happy now (I have a Saturday job there, to earn extra pennies) :T
