Hi,

We are currently testing a different version of our homepage. If you’re one of the lucky ones who’s already seen it (it is deliberately just shown to a small portion of users)
and want to let us know what you think, please feel free to post your thoughts below.

We’d love to share
the new homepage with everyone and will provide a link in time, but can’t for the moment as it would spoil the integrity of the data we get from the test.

Thanks,

The MSE Team

I think it looks good - much easier on the eye. It looks less cluttered and very professional.

Wouldn't know tbh. Never visit the Home page, always come straight to the Forum!
  • It's not working in IE6 (my company refuses to upgrade). :(

The card/signature/perctentage images are showing up as roughly 800x400 and extremely pixallated, the 'tools' section is 'stacked' instead of being - I'm assuming - more dynamic and fluid (and they're also cut off from the left and right (by a fixed width element no doubt).

The latest news section is also 'staircasing' from left to right (same withn the music section below it).

I can e-mail you the screengrabs MSE Guy (PM me your e-mail address) or you can check yourself using a legacy browser. But I believe quite a few businesses - bizarrely - still use IE6. :(

Looks good, agree with clean and proffesional. The weekly email banner is particularly good.
  • Very clean and professional looking - much less cluttered, and the signposting to sub-sites is good. Excellent!!
