Optional Extras on Endsleigh TPFT Policy?

Options
Dear Martin and Colleagues,

I am currently a first-year university student who is short of funds.

I am uncertain, as a first-time driver, as to whether it is necessary to include the following optional extras as part of a third party, fire and theft insurance policy with Endsleigh (or whether I am being sold any unnecessary extras):

1) Legal Cover (£2.33 per month)
Up to £50,000 to help with legal representation, recovering excess, and transport costs when an accident wasn’t your fault.

2) Unlimited Windscreen Cover (£1.67 per month)
Cover the replacement and repair of windscreen and windows. Includes FREE repair for small chips.

3) Personal Accident Cover (£1.42 per month)
Up to £30,000 compensation for you and the people in your car in the event of death, disablement or hospitalisation.

4) RAC Breakdown Cover (Roadside for £2.50, or Full UK Breakdown for £5.50)

5) Key Care (£1.58 per month)
Get £2500 cover for locksmith charges, replacement locks, new keys and immobiliser reprogramming.

6) Excess Protect Cover – up to £750 (£3.85 per month)
Claim back the excess you have to pay following an accident involving you or any named driver.

7) Hire Car (£2.08 per month)
Cover to keep you on the road if your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair.

Thank you so much for your time!

No, you can use a no win no fee company

    2) Unlimited Windscreen Cover (£1.67 per month)
Cover the replacement and repair of windscreen and windows. Includes FREE repair for small chips.

Not worth it, if it's not a dear car you can usually get a new screen fitted for not much more than the excess

    3) Personal Accident Cover (£1.42 per month)
Up to £30,000 compensation for you and the people in your car in the event of death, disablement or hospitalisation.

You're a student, you don't need it, your passengers can sue you or the other driver, and your insurance will pay anyway

    4) RAC Breakdown Cover (Roadside for £2.50, or Full UK Breakdown for £5.50)

Not a bad price, check out this website for alternatives though.
You can probably get the AA or RAC cheaper through topcashback or similar

    5) Key Care (£1.58 per month)

Get £2500 cover for locksmith charges, replacement locks, new keys and immobiliser reprogramming.

If you're tpf&t, does your car have an immobiliser. Just keep the spare keys safe.

    6) Excess Protect Cover – up to £750 (£3.85 per month)
Claim back the excess you have to pay following an accident involving you or any named driver.

You have a tpf&t, is your car worth making any claim on, and losing your ncd

    7) Hire Car (£2.08 per month)
Cover to keep you on the road if your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair.

Catch a bus, it'll only pay for a few days, and you can't afford the claim anyway.

Thank you so much for your time!

Personally, I wouldn't bother with any extras, apart from some form of recovery, like the AA, RAC etc.
Good tips on here for that as well.

It's usually cheaper to go for fully comp, but take the highest excess you can.
We have a £475 car with a £1000 excess. We'll never claim for it, even if we had a £100 excess it would increase the premium and the loss of ncd would make it too expensive.
We did break the screen, a new one was £83 fitted, if we claimed our excess was £75. So not worth it. Chips I ignore, or fill with araldite.

Nothing listed there is 'necessary' as such but can be useful if you need it.

As you are talking about TPF&T cover, I don't see why you are being offered number 6 on your list. There probably won't be an excess to pay following an accident as your insurer would only pay for damage to the other car which doesn't normally have an excess payable by you.
