About to apply for Smart card but....

......still have an Amazon card. It has no money on it and I will close it down when I get round to it, but as both are owned/run by Halifax will this be a problem when I try and take out a Smart card to do a balance transfer?

just applied for one and was accepted - twas an easy friendly call too! - they did ask if i had and BOS cards of which i have 1 and it didn't seem to matter - who are you BTing from?

BT would be from Nationwide. Did you apply by phone or net? Also did they give you a decision and credit rating straight away?

5 mins on phone and decision :j but no credit limit yet 7-10 days for paperwork and then further7-10 days for the card - they are open now - have you got the tel.no? BT should be o.k as not from one of their cards

Just phoned. All done and dusted with paperwork now in the post. Also gave me a credit limit over the phone which I thought was good. That should do me for another 6 months.....
