About to apply for Smart card but....

......still have an Amazon card. It has no money on it and I will close it down when I get round to it, but as both are owned/run by Halifax will this be a problem when I try and take out a Smart card to do a balance transfer?

    just applied for one and was accepted - twas an easy friendly call too! - they did ask if i had and BOS cards of which i have 1 and it didn't seem to matter - who are you BTing from?

    BT would be from Nationwide. Did you apply by phone or net? Also did they give you a decision and credit rating straight away?

    5 mins on phone and decision :j but no credit limit yet 7-10 days for paperwork and then further7-10 days for the card - they are open now - have you got the tel.no? ;) BT should be o.k as not from one of their cards

    Just phoned. All done and dusted with paperwork now in the post. Also gave me a credit limit over the phone which I thought was good. That should do me for another 6 months.....
