CD with downloaded tracks wont play straight away in WMP

I burnt some songs to cd and ive notced that it wont play straight away in media player whereas when i insert a cd i have bought it will play straight away in WMP. Is it the option i chose to burn the cd ?

  • Is it with all cds you play? Did you have a lead in time when you burnt the cd or do the tracks you have at the start have a gap from when they start to when the music starts. Or do you have to actually open up WMP and then click play? If so on the last one you may not have burned it to auto start

    All cds that i buy eg from a shop/website all play straight away, im not sure i had a lead in time when i burnt the cd.

    Yes to get it to play i open up wmp or vlc and use either of the 2 to play the cd.

    Thanks, ill give it another shot burning another copy and look at the lead in time.

    I used cd burner xp if it helps.
