Hi Yes they will fade very slightly overtime, they will also warp and lose shape too but this is considered part of their 'charm'. If you consider wooden furniture that has the windows reflection on it and then after years is suddenly moved often there is a slight colour difference. So the fading is not necessarily equal. The lighter the wood you chose then the less it will fade as obviously the less stain applied the less there is to lose colour. When you see a venetian in walnut or oak its not made out of this material its the stain colour, they are nearly all made from basswood which is light but very strong.;)0 -
