E on Expensive? Or is it just me?
Hi guys, I've been on a pre payment meter for 6 years. My provider is E on. I feel like I am constantly putting money on my key, and I really can't afford it! I live in a 1 bed flat in greater London. Im a full time Uni student/single mum. I'm only at home all day on a Wednesday and Saturday, and I go to bed early to get some reading done!
Since Dec 1st I have put £65 on my meter! I use the correct lightbulbs, switch off appliances and have storage heaters, and am not home in the day.
I phoned E on this morning and was told that my use and cost add up. Just wanted to know if anyone else pays this or more. Thanks

Are you on the cheapest possible tariff? Have you looked to see if switching to a different supplier will save you? Have you considered a credit meter? Don't just complain about the cost - do something about it!

I will have another go though, thanks!0 -
I love prepayment metres and I love how you can turn off your gas and electric and they still take money.
I love British gas and their mysterious debts they put on my electric metre for £70 a time and when I notice my electric going quick they say oh sorry our mistake.
I have a gas cooker and central eating and I put £10 on and four days later I ave £4.00 left and I haven't even used the bloody gas!
what they going to do when gas and electric is so expensive no one can afford to use it and they are stuck with it?
I would love to get a calor gas bottle and a generator and say sod the lot of these greedy insert sweat word here
I'm not poor i'm just skint0
