We had 6% before the rate rise though, so we should be able to expect 6.25% shouldn't we?

Long-term rates don't always follow short-term rates though... Heritable had a 5 year rate at 6% around 18 months ago when the BoE rate was 4.75%.0

Thats jsut their Isle Of Man rate isnt it? The .co.uk version of their site still quotes 5.85%....

Did anyone actually secure one at 6.11 % ? My application resulted in a declaration being sent to me asking me to sign before they could open the account. That was 2 weeks after my initial application. It is still not open yet. I notice that the application, declaration and all paperwok neatly omits the actual 6.11% figure.
