Can someone please help me? Stupidly, I did my xmas shopping early and brought 4 sets of pjs when they were on the two for £30 offer. I was annoyed when they dropped to two for £25 but I am now furious that they have dropped to two for £20! I could be £20 better off! I still have the receipts and got a qift receipt for each set - what can I do?! Anything?! Help!!!!

If you are still within the returns period (if they have one over and above the SOGA), then you could return them, and see if you can re-buy them.

Otherwise, not much. It's what happens. Stuff gets reduced.

DD went into La Senza in Hemel Hempstead today as they are having a closing down sale, so it looks like they have gone to the wall.

The one in Hemel isn't a closing down sale, it's just the same 50% off sale that the other branches and the website are having. It does have a sign in the window advising of the closing down date, but the sale is the same everywhere, whether the branch closing down or not.

You could try returning them with the receipts however I don't think you have anything legally to back you up unless they have a christmas returns policy in place. Loads of shops will take stuff back at this time of year so it's well worth a try (e.g. hmv were selling Harry Potter DVD set for £25 but have free returns policy so returned it and got set for £20 from Tesco)
:hello:On mortgage pay off countdown. Less than 8 years to go. :j Won £50 Amazon voucher for filling in a survey, £100 shopping voucher, £20 Odeon voucher, £20 bowling voucher :T Doing a £2 terramundi jar challenge but everyone else seems to have the same challenge as there don't seem to be many £2 coins around!:p
  • Nice to see with a company having problems and more importantly people facing losing their jobs the first thing that springs to mind is 'bargains perhaps'. Seems a pretty selfish attitude to me.
