Paragon loan PPI interest question

Steviek_2

My brother took out an unsecured joint loan with his then partner in Nov 07. She has since left him. The loan was for £5k with £1450 on top for a PPI premium. The premium has since been refunded to her but my brother has been left with the balance of the loan to pay. Surely the interest on the PPI should come off from the date it was refunded? Im also trying to claim back charges applied on a 4daily basis of £30 for a telephone call and arrears letter. Any help please?

If i read your post right, the total ppi should have been taken off the loan and the loan reset, this should have resulted in the monthly payment being reduced by the ppi monthly amount.
Interest on the ppi is included in the ppi monthly payment, you have this back and there is no more interest to come off the loan.
Regards the bank charge,i am sorry but i cannot help you with this, someone will be along who can.0
