LloydsTSB payment

Just got my first bill from LloydsTSB, 12 months 0%.

I want to pay via my current account on internet, however there's no mention on the statement of how to pay if you DON'T have a Lloyds account, just use the payment form at LloysTSB or the post.

So I phone them up (0870 grrrrrr!), and am told the account number is all zeros, i.e. 0000 0000, with credit card number as reference.

Can anyone confirm this for me please?????

if paying by phone banking give there sort code,a/c no=00000000 then card no as reference

(This is for Advance CC; I guess you have the same because of 12 months 0%)

As an aside, you should hardly ever need to call an 0870 number. Just go to the Say No to 0870 website and type in either the telephone number or name to see if there is a secret cheaper alternative. I typed in "LLoyds" and there were lots.

when you get through to that number for customer services instead of going through all the computer id & verification questions, either press 9 to skip by to next menu or simply say into your phone the word "agent"

puts you right through, no waiting!
