Free food poisoning thrown in.
My daughter and fiance came back and was she was off work for nearly 4 weeks with it. They were well aware of hygiene etc and
still got itmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

it appears new Egyptian regime is rumoured to be considering applying strict Islamic principles to the tourist industry.
No mixed bathing, no women in bikinis (funnily enough says nothing about men in bikinis) but Islamist views on such things are well known.
In addition no alcohol a la Saudi Arabia.
