Groupon Vouchers

A quick question :
Who is the contract made with if you purchase a voucher with Groupon however it doesn't live up to it's description which it was sold and booked under.
I have contacted groupon they refuse to refund the full amount and have made a token gesture. They have said I should contact the company concerned directly. I have contacted them but they just ignore correspondence.
In my understanding since Groupon took my money is the contract with Groupon would I be correct in assuming this???

Other people on here have suggested Groupon do refund if pressed hard enough, so keep on at them.0

Did you pay by paypal?
Open a claim, they don't respond and paypal refund you after 10 days if it is for an item not received. Far quicker than trying to talk to Groupon.0 -
I'm amazed that anyone trusts Groupon with their money anymore. There are 5 threads on the first page of this board alone, all people who gave been ripped off/let down.0
