Anyone know how to get a cheap flight to Northern Ireland?

Hi all,

I've been to Northern Ireland a few times but always end up paying £100+! Its only a 45min flight, surely there has to be a cheaper way to get across from England! Does anyone know of a cheaper way (without having to take a boat that takes hours) ?

Any help would be appreciated

Lowest base fares I can see is Easyjet £63 return from Stansted to Belfast Int, or bmi £72.50 from Heathrow to Belfast City (of which £41.50 is taxes!)
Maybe look out for sales and book as much in advance as you can

Sorry it was the first thing that came into my head when I read the title of the thread. I flew from mainland to Northern Ireland and back many times and never paid a penny, but it was not always by choice.

Hope you get some proper helpful replies.

How can we help without knowing where you want to fly from? A quick look on Easyjet found a return from Edinburgh to Belfast for £40, but that's not much use if you live in Kent.
