Hmm, one of my DD's wants this but how much are the contents worth. Really not sure it's a good buy.

I have worked out that all the contents sold seperately are worth £66.32, so i definitely don't think that it is worth the original price, £25 sounds much better! :)
Thank you to everyone that contributes on these pages!

  • I just worked it out and get the price of the items to work out at £66.32 but you would get this cheaper buying them on 3 for 2!!! Set is well overpriced in my opinion, if you were paying £60.00. Think I'll be giving this one a miss as well, still using stuff from last years and year before. The hatbox has been by far the best packaging so far :-)!!

    Clean On Me™ Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel - 500ml - £5.11
    The Righteous Butter™ Body Butter - 300ml – £10.21
    Pulp Friction™ Body Scrub - 300ml – £8.00
    Face, Soap & Clarity™ Fresh Facial Wash - 150ml – £7.00
    25 Off Your Face™ Cleansing Wipes – £4.50
    Heel Genius Foot™ Cream - 125ml – £5.50
    Hand Food Hand™ Cream - 125ml – £5.00
    Mist You Madly™ Fragrant Body Spray - 250ml – £6.50
    Sexy Mother Pucker™ Lip Plumper In Candy Gloss - 7ml – £9.00
    Calm One, Calm All™ Bubble Bath - 500ml. £5.50

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and New Year  xx
  • Anyone know if there is a limit on the number you can buy and how many boots will have available for online orders.... im presuming it will be in the hundreds if not thousands?

    Thanks

P.S. What time does the deal come on boots.com??
  • Went to bigger Boots branch at Braehead (Glasgow) at 9am last year when offer came on. Just me and about a dozen others, filled up pretty quickly with staff from the other stores!!!
I got 12, doing runs in groups of 3 before my arms gave out and I thought I had enough for my christmas list + what I'd agreed to get other people. Then pops up MORE people my sister-in-law blabbed to...I ended up with people texting me asking for me to sell them one! even being offered £30 each. I thought lasts years was brilliant. Big bag + the sturdy box is fab for my daughter to keep all her make-up/perfums in.

I find this years a wee bit miserable as there's no body scrunch thing.
  • I love soap and glory and I will definitely be getting myself one and a couple as presents!
One thing though, when will it go live online? Will I have to wait up on the Thursday night?

Will be giving this a miss too as still have stuff from the hatbox.
Are you sure it's going to be £25, the fcuk bag is £30  no way worth that as previously the bag has been £18 and £20, what's to say S&G won't be £30 too :(
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

OOTW is always "better than half price" so as the S&G set is currently £60, it will have to be under £30 when on offer. I would have guessed at around £27-28 but people in the know have put it at £25 :)

I missed the hatbox in '09 but got last year's box 'n bag set and it was very practical - by far the best items in the pack. However, in true MSE tradition, I made several gifts out of the Soap and Glory stuff as I just didn't like it. A set like this can go a long way when you split the items up. I won't be buying this time either.
