I never thought I would say this but I'm giving it miss this year. Got the No 7 set with my points instead. Already got hand cream, foot cream and body spray left from buying 3 4 2 earlier on and won't use the bubble bath or lip gloss. Hope next years is better like a lot of you I'm not overly impressed this year and I know my two other soap and glory mad friends are not buyiing it either.

Wow, I got like a massive box of this stuff either last xmas or one before from my Dad and was just like 'meh' over it. Did not realise it was this expensive! Now I wish I had been a bit more enthusiastic about it. I do quite like the stuff in it, and my OH absolutely loves the body scrubs. I would prefer it if he emerged from the shower smelling more manly than mandarins and flowers though......

I've still got stuff left from last year. Gave some to my daughter as I wasn't keen on the smell....and that lip plumper is the devils work :eek:.

Called into my local Boots on the way past this morning and I couldn't see any of the No.7 so I asked a SA would they have the S&G on friday and she replied yes, get here early! Oh Lord, I won't be there THAT early, damn you ootw for getting me all excited!

I enjoyed it last year waiting for it to go live and boy it was fun! I still got abit left, its really nice so i'll be up and waiting again:), plus there was a few codes hanging around the last time so it was even cheaper not so sure there'll be any codes this time round but i'll surely be looking.:D

I don't understand why they have changed the style of the packaging this year, if they had done a vanity bag in the old style design it would have been far more appealing. I first bought a few S&G things last year and I really like the products, they have a lovely smell, last for ages and I don't get tired of them. I was intending to get the big S&G set for myself this year, but as I'm not keen on the bag it comes in, I got myself one of the sets ASOS we're selling a few weeks ago instead. I suppose it's not bad for £25, but then you can often buy individual products on 3 for 2 anyway.

I'd still buy it if it ended up in the 75% off sale, but that's not very likely.

I agree. The lip plumper is like being stung by numerous bees. I hate the stuff. The bee stung look isn't too bad but the bee stung feeling with my usual but sore lips isn't for me.

I'm in ...

Roll on 4a.m. and the orange peeps - I'm only in it for the good company, sort of like sending Xmas cards to people you only communicate with once a year. It's now become part of the Xmas tradition.
