I am also trying to order online but am failing at the final hurdle (trying to pay). I would go into town and buy one but am waiting for other things to be delivered.0

I've finally managed to place an on-line order - its taken about half an hour with the site being busy. I'm the same, would have gone into town but other things are due to be delievered today and it's snowing quite heavily where I am.
I also managed to pick up a couple of Gillette Fusion gift sets for half price (£12.50). I bought one in store last week and they seem really good value. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice - you almost pay this price just for razor blades. That's an extra prezzie for my dad and my son.
All in all, with my Soap & Glory and Fusion stuff, I have saved £60 today!I've worked in the Financial Services industry for the last 25 years. I couldn't check out with a credit card, but PayPal went through straight away x0

Congrats on the amount you have saved!
I have finally managed to order mine. Just a heads up for anyone else buying the set online... if you have paypal then use that to order. I spent 30 minutes trying to order with a debit card & 5 minutes with my paypal account:rotfl:.0 -
Was all set to go to my nearest big Boots (10 miles away) for 8am but then I woke up at 3:15 so thought I'd give the website a go. Remembering the problems of the last few years I really didn't hold out much hope so couldn't believe it when my order went straight through!! Collecting mine from the titchy little store a mile away from home on Wednesday :j
Thanks so much to Boots for whatever they've done to make things work this year :T
And to those saying that it's a lot of money for about £2 worth of stuff...you could say that about virtually everything we buy - that's just modern business! At least this is £2 worth of super-lovely stuff that will make lots of ladies happy this Christmas!
Merry Christmas all :santa2::snow_laug:rudolf: xxx"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

Got one this morning in Stafford on the retail park (as opposed to the town branch)...
They had loads of them in there, loads behind the counter already bagged up which was a good idea I thought....
The bloke in front of me got two though, I got one and a couple of other people in store had them, so may not last too long.
Would NEVER pay £60 for this or anywhere close to £60... even £25 seems steep to me (typical bloke) but hopefully the wife will appreciate it.
A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

I just managed to order 2 of them on-line used paypal.0

I got one in my local Boots this morning, they seemed to have loads but a lot of people were buying two or three, don't think I have ever seen it so busy!0
-
just managed to get one, but with all the clicking and refreshing, it was 2 at one point then, none, then back to 2 and then finally one. Once it had stopped freezing and the website was actually available!
Very happy i got one as i missed out last year, cant help thinking Boots should be ready for the increased traffic on their site though, its not like it doesn't happen every year! :j0 -
I'm so weak I gave in and bought one and the things in it I won't use I will put in presents for people during the year. I blame my mum I was resisting until she rang me at work to say she was in boots and did I want one. Would have been rude to sy no plus it wouldn't be Christmas without treating myself to the Soap and Glory offer.
Well done for all those that have managed to buy one enjoy0
