Where is the best place to get concert tickets from is it Ticket-master?

Not necessarily Ticketmaster don't always give you the chance of selecting seats, they just give you the next available. Some sites like The Ticket Factory (for the NEC) do let you select specific areas. For big events it's always worth looking around other sites before the release date of your concerts. If you can, open more than one website and cross check.
Most artists will detail reputable ticket agencies with links for their ticket sales.
