Purchasing ex lease car

I've already posted on the discussion board, didn't realise there was this group - we'd like to buy an ex LPG lease car directly from the lease company, does anyone know of any that sell to individuals?

If you are the former driver there shouldn't be a problem just tell them you want to buy the car and ask for a price.

If your not then I have found that the lease vehicles I have had are collected and go direct to the local car auctions. The lease company have very little to do with the vehicle they get shut as soon as they can. So if you want to buy it then you need to go to the auction.

What make model of car are you looking at, and have you driven an LPG car? also how many miles do you cover per year?

I found no real difference, just not as many places to refill but growing in size, I used to drive a 2001 Vectra 2.0 on lpg, a good saving when one could be bothered to refill as it was easier to stick petrol in, but that was just pure idleness.
