Hope someone can help .......
I was awarded DLA at the higher rate and because my o/h is claiming pension credit he rang them to report a change in circumstances , as required to do , the lady who took his call said she would send a form for him to fill in as he could be entitled to an extra payment !
Could someone tell me what this is for and what it is payable at ?
Came as a suprise when she said about the extra payment which would be useful due to circumstances at the moment !
Regards

did you get HR care DLA? Does your OH have middle or HR care? If yes to both, the you could be entiteld to an extra amount for severe disability see conditions here -
The Severe Disability Premium
Couples (higher rate)
If you have a partner, you may get the higher rate premium. You may get this if no one else lives with you, no one gets Carer's Allowance for looking after you and either:- you both get the middle or highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance
- you get the middle or highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance and your partner gets Attendance Allowance
If you have a partner, you may get the lower rate premium if no one else lives with you and either:- you both get the middle or highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance, and Carer's Allowance is paid for only one of you; or
- you get the middle or highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance and your partner gets Attendance Allowance, and Carer's Allowance is paid for only one of you; or
- you get the middle or highest rate of Disability Living Allowance care component and your partner is registered blind, and no one gets Carer's Allowance for looking after you
could be worth up to £110.60, I highlight the up as it will depend on what you get currently.:)0 -
